The company had been in the industry since 1993 when it completed the St. Joseph Subdivision, its first residential community project situated in San Pedro, Laguna. This first project was sold-out (200 home units) completely only 4 months after it’s launched. In 1994, the company was renamed P. A. Alvarez Properties & Development Corp. (or simply P.A. Properties) and was registered in the Securities & Exchange Commission.

Since then, the company has been adapting to the innovation and evolution of processes and operations to better respond to the needs of its homebuyers. The company now employs modern techniques in terms of building technology. Technology such as the Cast-in-Place (CIP) technique is widely used on the company’s residential projects. The CIP enables “locally supplied ready-mix concrete or site-mixed mortar, steel reinforcement, and plastic formwork are delivered to the construction site, allowing concrete and mortar structures to be produced at the project site. This makes the construction process more efficient, allowing single-story units to be finished in 25 days while two-story units, in mere 45 days.” This technology lowers the cost in construction so the prices are lowered, much to the advantage of buyers/investors.
